Dominika Witowicz
Dominika Witowicz is a versatile violinist whose artistry spans solo, chamber, and orchestral performance. She completed her studies at the Academy of Music in Kraków under Professor Wiesław Kwaśny and at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK) with Professor Dominika Falger.
Since 2023, Dominika has been a core member of the Ensemble WISE and the renowned CIPRA Quartet, contributing her distinctive voice to innovative chamber projects. Her artistic development has been shaped by masterclasses with the Kronos Quartet, Evgenia Epstein, the Scharoun Ensemble of the Berlin Philharmonic, Bartłomiej Nizioł, and Andrej Bielow, as well as participation in the Grafenegg Academy and the Music Festival & Master Class Piła.
A laureate of international competitions, she has won top prizes at the Art-Duo Festival in Prague, the Fidelio Competition in Vienna, and competitions in Copenhagen, Sogliano al Rubicone, and Berlin, including the Special Prize for Best Female Violinist at the Malta International Music Competition.
Dominika has performed as a soloist with the Rzeszów Philharmonic and collaborated with the Wiener Concert-Verein, Vienna Classical Players, Concertgebouw Orchestra, NFM Wrocław Philharmonic, Kraków Philharmonic, and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, where she held a temporary position in 2023. She has also appeared with festival orchestras in Bregenz, Styriarte, and Esker (Ireland).
Her artistry reflects collaborations with eminent musicians including Tomasz Tomaszewski, Daniel Stabrawa, and Ernst Kovacic, combining technical mastery with expressive depth.
